Bolts
QUICKPAK® Bolt Specifications
The ASTM A307 specification covers the chemical and mechanical requirements of carbon steel bolts and studs. A307 bolting meets ASME/ANSI B18.2.1 dimensions, and is available in diameters ranging from 1/4" to 4". There are grades (A,B) which denote tensile strength, configuration, and application.

Grade A - Low Carbon Steel Bolts and Studs intended for General Applications
Grade B - Low Carbon Steel Heavy Hex Bolts and Studs
Nuts
QUICKPAK® Nut Specifications
The ASTM A563 specification covers the chemical, mechanical, and dimensional requirements for carbon and alloy steel nuts for general structural and mechanical uses on bolts, studs and other externally threaded parts. A563 nuts meet ASME/ANSI B18.2.2 dimensions. Various nut styles exist including finished hex, heavy hex.

Grade A - Low Carbon Steel/Finished or Heavy Hex
Grade B - Low Carbon Steel/Finished or Heavy Hex
Gaskets
Red Rubber (SBR) - Gasket style 0700 Red Rubber Smooth Finish 75 Durometer
SBR rubber commonly called "synthetic rubber" was developed as an alternative to the natural rubber. Recommended for low pressure applications such as washers and gaskets for heating and plumbing trades. Low cost flange gasket material. Non-oil resistant compound that resists flow under compression. Offers moderate to good performance against low pressure. Good aging and abrasion resistance. Easily conforms to uneven flange surfaces.

Torque
Torque Specifications
The estimated torque calculations chart is only offered as a guide. Use of its content is the sole responsibility of that person and they assume all risk. Due to many variables that affect torque-tension relationship like human error, surface texture, and lubrication the only way to determine the correct torque is through experimentation under actual joint and assembly conditions.
